It would really be nice when your house is located near beaches. For those who love seas, waking up every morning and going outside to feel the sea breeze is very relaxing for them. Furthermore, you could also do many things with that. You may try fishing, or perhaps have your own beach resort. You might also want to try some sports like surfing. But in New Jersey, that might alter your case. You still have to follow their limitations and rules on that state. The Coastal Area Facility Review ACT or also known as CARA is responsible in providing approval to department when it comes to residential, public, industrial and commercial expansions. Areas depicting this act are oceans, creeks, bays, beaches, etc.

Whenever you decide to construct a duplex or perhaps relocate on those locations, then you really need a permit from CAFRA especially when you placed your buildings directly on beaches. However, there are still some exceptions which will exempt you from getting for permits. It depends on your situation or plan on construction. But when your construction is located on wetlands, beaches or dunes, then permits are required.

Installing any fences, boardwalks, patios or decks are fine. However, when you build it on those places mentioned above, then you must have certification. It also comes with different types and it also varies. You better know this so you will avoid some hassles while constructing your plans.

Permits-by-Rules. You could have this whenever particular activities are being done and prearranged by sector. Moreover, the department will not need to review those activities. Make sure that the distance of your instalments or construction has a distance of 50 ft. From CAFRA locations.

General Permits are like Permits-by-rule for it has specific activities. However, it needs a written approval from Department. The application fee is one thousand dollars. When you perform some activities in your domain and individual permit is needed, then it needs to be evaluated by another application of individual permit without the necessity of submitting your application for this permit.

Individual Permit. No need submitting other permits when you have this. It requires as well some approval from the department, just similar with general and permits-by-rule. Moreover, the application payment is 2000 dollars.
