The Type Of Hazards In The Environment

By Jennifer Bell

The way people treats the environment has to be addressed and changed as it has been constantly causing a bigger havoc into the natural resources. Sometimes individual do not understand that their simple negligence and undisciplined behavior causes so much problems. No wonder the earth are currently into a critical phase of climate change which causes several chaos and disaster all over the world. It is true that as of now, it still is not too late to change the way people treats the nature, that way preserving it may be possible until the longest time. And those people who are extra concerned about the earth have gathered enough courage to create an Environmental Services Henrico VA in hope of saving the entire environment.

Earth in this modern era has been quite exposed to all the chemicals and unnecessary pollutants people have created. Yes, it is easy to say that saving the nature is the key to keep everything back to normal but sometimes individuals do not understand that there is so much more than that. Damages are not simply those garbage everywhere because there are four types of them.

There are basically four types of damages recorded. These are physical hazards, chemical, biological and cultural hazards. To make it easier for everyone to understand how these occurs, these all will be explained briefly below.

Physical damages are apparently those processes done physically that naturally occurs in the environment. Some examples are those natural disaster such as tornadoes, earthquakes, blizzards and more. Even the ultra violet radiation from the sun can cause these damages which slowly are killing and ruining the lives of plants and other species.

Then there is chemical hazards. Sometimes it can be naturally be caused by nature but often times, it is because of human inventions or creations. As painful as it may be, the sad truth is that the more thing that help individuals live a better life, the more toxic mechanisms are exposed in thin airs. The problem is people do not see it coming but gradually, it could weaken their body system.

For natural chemicals, it often refers to the elements and compounds highly active like mercury that can kill lives. Hence, it would be better to leave these stuff alone wherever they are. True that studying this can sure help in the economic stability of nation but it does not have certain guarantee to keep species safe whilst being exposed to those elements.

The biological hazards mainly refers to the interaction between specific organisms that could cause harm to the other. Example of which are viruses, bacteria causing infections and more. When these gets transferred from one organism to another, it does infect several living things.

Last are cultural risks which is more likely referring to social convenience. This is how people behaves as dictated to the culture they were exposed to. Like how they smoke around and such.

With all these types of hazard mentioned, the conclusion is people are generally part of the so called environment. Whatever activities done that could damage the earth would all probably go straight and affect human lives in many ways possible. These hazards are not only based on how human damages the nature but how they are damaging themselves as the same time.
