The Advantages Of Nature Friendly Structures

By Micheal A. Warren

Architecture and engineering has recently adapted a way to create environmentally friendly structures that suit the present weather. As it is an effective type, more and more people are switching to this housing trend.

An eco friendly house required the employment of modern technologies such as solar panels to achieve its aim for cutting back on greenhouse gas production.

As eco friendly houses are a fairly new concept, interested buyers who live in countries that are constantly exposed to high temperature climates could use a guide. For obvious reasons, the internal environment should be balanced and therefore lowered in temperature. Unfortunately, this is similar to heating and causing more gas emissions.

To eliminate the need for air conditioning as well as artificial lighting, the building team must create a blueprint for a structure that has features to utilize the normal surroundings air and lighting.

This flourishing field of designing houses would have not been possible without the advocacy of Laurie Baker who said that people should "study and know local materials" to create cheap yet efficient buildings without wasting or immediately depleting natural resources. In addition to this, he advised people to stay away from such acts saying "don't rob national resources".

Baker gave a great deal of importance to the task to "study and know energy" for house design especially concentrating on the materials used but also on the aspect of transportation in people's way of living. "Get your conscience out of the deep freeze" is his way of telling architectures to support eco friendly cause.

Fortunately, people can easily possess their own eco friendly house with more and more professionals especially in tropical countries joining the cause of this building design.

In addition to all of these, eco friendly houses should also avoid overspending financial resources. Therefore, land area, no matter how big or small, should also be considered when creating the design.
