We Can Help Improve Our Present Ecological Problem By Thinking Green

By Debbie Cantin

The earth stays on its path of destruction, with weather problems, nuclear power plant issues, together with apathy in the masses. The globe is headed to its sorry end, unless its citizens, including all of us, wake up today. Our problems include a climbing population, corruption in the government, and dangerous chemicals spewing into the atmosphere. The best thing for us today is to go green.

Although we talk about living green, a lot of us have no clue what it really means. Whatever actions that make a positive effect on the environment is considered as green living. These are things that will help support the new generation by helping the planet remain balanced. The ultimate goal for green living is to have the Earth in ecological balance. By living green, we can rid our environment of dangerous toxins. When we decide to live green, our planet will be a better place for everyone and we can maintain it for a very long time.

Nature's equilibrium has been turned over and over, until there is only so much to be concerned about. There are many regions on the planet where water is diminishing. We live in a world full of concrete structures and no trees or plants to clean our air. There is considerable pollution, and the air is so awful, that when traveling from one place to another, it is hard to travel the distance without being grimy on arrival.

Earth will no longer have any natural resources that we use now such as oil and paper. Each day, our world is slowly being destroyed but no one appears to be paying attention. Many people's lives are being assailed by the many serious natural calamities in recent times. Nature is fighting with instabilities and so much pollution, on top of fiscal issues and global recession. Each day money is being expended on unimportant things while crucial issues are being ignored. No action is being made to address the issue of protecting the earth and persuading people to go green.

What do we have to do to change our habits and be conscious of conservation. Is there some sort of way to band together, to plant more trees, to flip off the electricity when not in use, and try to conserve water. Is everyone doing their best to tidy up the planet so that we can have a better place? Is everyone on the planet doing their best to have less pollution? Are enough people attempting to do better so that the future generations have something left? There is not a lot of time left so we have to work quickly to follow a green way of life.
