Meaning and Functions of CIEH Qualifications

Definition of Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH)

The Chartered Institute of Environment Health (CIEH) is a professional, campaigning and awarding body championing for public and environmental health and safety of individuals in workplace. It is one of the leading awarding bodies in health and safety, environmental protection and food safety for work qualifications. Currently, there are over 6 million people globally that have completed CIEH certified qualifications successfully.

What are CIEH qualifications?

CIEH accredited qualifications meet all legislative requirements in safety and health, environment protection and food safety. They are highly recognised and respected by organisations and professionals in these fields because it reduces the risk of incidents in the workplace. Apart from being recognised by businesses throughout UK, they meet national standards for skills and knowledge.

CIEH qualifications

CIEH qualifications are supported by many quality assurance measures and are recognised by qualifications and curriculum authority. Level 2 Award

Occupational qualifications

CIEH develops several vocationally related qualifications that are recognised within the framework of national qualifications at different levels of skills. After the course

Everybody who passes the multiple choice assessment gets a nationally recognised certificate to indicate that he/ she participated in the training programme and effectively completed the examination. They can use these certificates in a workplace to prove the level of safety and health knowledge they acquired.
